This is the only tricep exercise that hurts my joints. ACtually, it's almost more of a tendon pain at the posterior base of my humerus, rolling over to my ulna.

that means you should strengthen your rotator cuff.

Everytime I see you posting, I think, because of your name, that you are a futuristic android version of ALBOB.

No other tricep exercises give me more pump than the seated overhead dumbell tricep extension. :whip:
Psh, what a noob... Talking about garbage like pump... :finger:

I am so kidding, please dont hurt me... :(

Mmm, yes, but that is not what that means in this case. The humerus is your upper arm bone, ulna... one of the two lower arm bones... i'm referring to a tendon in my elbow... not my rotator cuff. They don't give me a shoulder pain.

And an exercise doesn't give you definition, low BF does.
Then what tha hell is people talking when they say they do DB flys for definition?

We are taught in this forum that the "pump" doesn't mean your building muscle though :p
Yes I ? this theory to. :hmmm:

It sure is hard to argue with actual success. That man is huge!
 I'm just teasing with him. If anyone else had said that Rob woulda made them feel like an ass. Personally I like attaining a pump. :D

They don't know what they are talking about. Muscle is there, fat is over it. Definition comes as the fat leaves the surrounding muscle. DB Flyes are good for isolation.

I like having a pump too.

I like them all, the only one I don't like are Bench dips. They just don't do anything for me even if I add weights on my lap. They used to feel good when I was a kid though.

I don't prefer any one exercise really, I think the "best" is in how you combine the exercises. IMO.

what I like to do is,
1) overhead dumbell extensions
2) CG bench or dips
3) straightbar cable pushdowns supersetted with rope push downs

I dont know if theres any theory to this or rationality, but when it came to chest i was always taught to do 2 press exercises followed by a fly. so i adapted this logic to tris and came up with the above routine. anyone have any comments????

If you increase the muscle mass without increasing the fat in that area you will get more definition. Losing the fat will get you ripped.

Definition and ripped are two different things imho. :)

Skull crushers for some reason make my bench go up like crazy.

Af ew of my faves:
Weighted Bench Dips
Reverse Grip Cable Push-Downs
French DB Xt.
Kick-Backs are fun to finish off with...

I like to superset cable pulldowns, one are pulldowns and then lying crossface tricep extensions...do 3 sets of 6-10 for each and you should feel a great burn

There really is no "superior" exercise... variation is a beautiful thing.

Whats more important is progressive overload, proper TUT for the tricep according your your own genetics and intensity.

My personal fav's are cg bench, lying extensions and Press-downs.
