i need to lower my b.p. a few more points.i am on amlodipine 5 mg.i have herd hawthorn but at what dose.for some reason i am sensitive to bp medicines.so i wanted to find something natural.bp 185 over 135 before med now 140 over 91.140 is ok for now bottom num needs to be under 90.so i can box.thanks for help.

i personally dose hawthorne at about 2 grams a day man. cheap if you run to walmart and get it at like 500mg a pill

keeps my bp down...

I used to take hawthorne for my BP before getting prescribed beta blockers. Any "natural" supplement that helps bring down high BP must be taken in extreme amounts to be effective whether its garlic, hawthorne, omega-3 fish oil etc. That's what the doctor said anyway.

i used the hawthorn to see if it helped.bottom number was 83.but the top was a little higher.nurse said it could be from taking it in the other arm.but any way i can work with that.

i am on a cycle with test 500 wk and bold 400 wk.i tryed metha-drol after a wk on it i was weak.i droped the meth save it for later.might be because i am dieting.taking a lot of diet med.with cafeine in them.i have lost a lot of strength lifting.but i am stronger in boxing and sparing in mma.

I used to do that. I'd wash it down with orange juice so it wasn't harsh but you still sweat it out and stink as a result. After some research I learned that the compound Allicin, which is what stinks in garlic, mainly helps the immune system. Some companies sell the garlic extracted without the Allicin such as the "kyolic" brand.
