I am 13.5% body fat, but I still have quite a bit of fat around my waist. Is there any way to specifically target fat loss in this area?

do you use any fatburning supplements? if so, yohimbine is targeting the receptors around the stomach area (moreso in men) and the hip/thigh/butt area (more so in women). you might want to include it in your supplementation. i've taken yohimbe from twinlab 3x1 caps. (each has 8mg yohimbine)together w/a caffeine/ephedrine product, it worked well.

I don't mean to be a smart ass but did you read that in a Muscle Mag?
There's no way you can spot reduce like that, they're just trying to sell there product.
Men store more fat in there stomics and women in there hips so those spots are usally the last to loose the fat.

there are receptors called alpha sub 2 adrenergic receptors, which only yohimbine blocks, but not ephedrine or norephedrine. these receptors are primarily located in mens stomach and women's hip and thigh area, and the reason, why many women have a hard time burning off bodyfat in those regions, while loosing everywhere else.

Bump, I'd like to hear if anyone else know anything about this.

I have a friend who is a BB and one of them real smart science guys :D who agrees w/ what cytrix is saying. I can't get into all the details cause it's way over my head though.

REALLY???? I though there was not spot reduction. I've seen this stuff called Cutting GEL... and well thought No way that could work... Ever hear about this? it one of those to good to be true things.

there is no spot reduction in terms of exercising a particular bodypart to burn of fat locally, for example doing the stairmaster will NOT burn off fat locally on your butt and thighs, but allover your body. spotreduction through supplements is a totally different story though, since there are different receptors that respond to different thermogenic substances as i described previously in detail.
