ok i'm starting a carb cycling plan , so i'd like to add some brown rice to low carb days ..but i have a problem :S how shall i cook it ?? i mean without adding fat. any help

Boil water, and put the rice in the water until it's cooked. You won't be adding anything but water to the rice.

Boil in lightly salted water for as long as it takes to go "al-dente".

Buy a rice cooker.

Um I would probably use stock either chicken or fish or vegetable stock in place of water for prep.

Buying one this weekend, pretty excited. LoL

You will like it. It's very easy for anyone to cook with. And as IainDaniel stated adding some stock really helps.

Hey guys, yeah I have been doing it the old fashioned way but am pretty excited to cut my prep time down considering I cook either every day or every other day simply because I like my food fresh.

Ian, Costco has organic chicken broth in bulk which I will be using to prep. Should come out :lick:
