i'm 155-160 lbs (will know bf% on thursday) 5'8" 16 yrs old

i plugged all this into fit day and it comes out to

3109 cals 50g fat/306g carbs/316g protein (

this will be a bulk will last until the end of the year, maybe later, so i wanna get it down pretty nice :D

Meal 1 seems a tad carb heavy, but other than that it looks okay...I'd add some fat to 4 pm meal though.

Looks good, try it and see how it works. if you arnt gaining try upping your carbs and fat. U might also wanna post your routine on here to get the best results out of your bulk

As you slowly add quality weight, the diet will have to change to keep up with you. Too much too fast and you'll get fat, yada yada.

are you 155lbs skinny, or are you 155lbs soft. b/c if your skinny and have a fast metobolism, your only goals should be to get lots of protein and calories. Your bulking, eat semi clean. No matter what people tell you I can tell you what some of the biggest boys eat. Tons of lean beef, tons of milk, protein shakes, mrp's, chicken, turkey, and then on top of that it's usually free game. I am amazed at what some of the biggest mass freaks eat. I'm talking pro's and national level contenders. I'm looking at your diet right now, and your doing good man, 316grams of protein at your size is good, you should gain well. I would up the carbs to 400grams a day. If you gain a bit of fat, it's ok, don't worry.

I'm sorry..but I have to disagree...you're comparing a 16 yr old w/ professional juiced BBer's????

You should always worry about fat...it's not ok! We should be eating healthfully (it's a word) as much as possible....even while trying to gain! Fat gain is going to happen...but there are ways to minimize it and it should always be a concern....unless you want to stay a fat ass, you're going to have to strip it at some point...the fatter you allow yourself to get on a bulk, the harder and longer you have to cut...not to mention unhealthy!

sorry i cant give a bf%, last time i had it done was for wrestling and it was 18% at 182 lbs. i'm going to guess 13-16% now, i'm about twice as strong and 30 lbs lighter.
thanks for the info on adding slowly. last time i bulked up i added a lil more fat then i wanted too :(

400g carbs? good god, I'd explod with new peaks of mountainous flab.

I think you should try and add some carns and fat to your pre-workout shake...nothing too extremem...maybe just a banana and some flax with the whey. Also I would reduce the oatmeal down to a half cup (dry measure) with the reat of your breakfat.

Overall....in terms of macros I think the calories look ok but I don't think you need that much protein...try to decrease it to 1.5grams / lb and make up the remaining caloies from quality fats and carbs. Remember that carbs are protein sparing so if you're consuming enough overall calories you definately won't need 315 grams of protein to add weight.

What you've put together looks quite good for a relative newbie....good luck!

As per your PM to me...you can cut some carbs from sugars by eliminating milk entirely and the 30 extra grams of dextrose from your post wo meal. Recover X already has 60 grams. You can also simply reduce the overall amount of carbs from other meals, but make sure to replace them with some fats to offset the calorie deficit.
