I don't understand how adults let words get to them like that. no reason to put hands on anyone simply for words, now once they touch you it's game on.

She definitely hit him first. And if she's going to yap like that, the "no man should ever hit a woman" rule no longer applies, at least in my book. That's a silly rule anyway. I see women beating guys (couples) in public so often, and the guy's usually just defensive...no one bats an eye. But when a guy slaps a woman for being a...female dog (or because she hit him 100x first)...people frown on him, and they go "that's a female!" I don't understand, I thought women were "equals" now? If they're going to act all tough and hit a man, they better be prepared for what's coming to them. No more special treatment in that area, come on. The rule should be more like "no person should hit another person," that way everyone's equal. If a person does hit another person, there better be a very, very good excuse.

This is whats wrong with out country right there lol. Both are horribly guilty, but I do not blame the driver because I know I wants counting the seconds to see him knock her out. As bad as that sounds its true. In his situation it will take a VERY calm person to stay collective. She as just being a total bitch and deserves an ass whoopin plain and simple. To many women want to step up to men toe to toe but get pissed when the man gives them what there asking for.

I think the bus driver summed it up " you wanna be a man I'll treat you like a man"..that was funny. Aside I'm sure he wasn't trying to mess her up,that wasnt a grounded shot , she clearly deserved what she got even if was just enough to stun her. I think if your man/woman enough to hit first you better be ready for whats coming next.

not many things are a lock when it comes to the US criminal justice system depends on where it occurs and the types of people involved and of course the DA. I picked up an assault charge in the 80's after disarming a guy with a knife but then again I am black and the event was in hicksville (Shippensburg PA).
All this girl needs to say is she was sexually abused by some man and the bus driver brought all those emotions flooding out and he will get the full brunt of the law. It's the same defense that keeps most women off of death row. Never fails that women can be seen as victims even under the most heinous allegations against them. Every defense attorney knows this...
