can my legs get overtrained from just running, im 230lbs 6ft and i play basketball everyday for a couple of hours, when i get home my legs are so dead and tired i cant even walk up the stairs- this has been happening every day i play ball, will my legs get stronger or will they just become overtrained

Do you stretch at all?

It's definitely possible. Basketball involves a good amount of sprinting and leaping.

yes, they can.

of course they can.

yea i do stretch, wow i didnt think they could because its like really high volume and very low intensity- ok ill take a break from basketball until this monday- is that enough for them to recover?

It's the knees you need to be concerned with.;)

if u rest for a couple of days they'll get stronger i used to play soccer and after a a while during many cardio of cycilng and running and doing squats and weight training they start hurting as hell and the pain won't go untill u rest for say a week without working them at all...then they'll get stronger
