Hey guys
I've been looking into medical tests that I'd want to take before, during and after a cycle. The cycle would probably only consist of 500mg/wk of enan/cyp for 10-12 weeks, no orals.
Below are a few costs for various checks. You'll have to excuse my ignorance if they seem expensive, cheap or the norm as I don't have much experience with this sort of thing. I know you can't put a price on our health, but this will be expensive - especially if I'm planning on three of each.
This leads me onto my question: Is it necessary to get 'the full works' when testing ones body with cycles, or do we only need only a few specific tests to really tell us how things are going?
It would be good if any of you could have a look over what I was going to address check-up wise and see if all of it's needed etc.
Here's the list:
HDL/LDL and Total Cholesterol
Triglycerides
White blood cell / Red blood cell total
Blood Urea Nitrogen
Creatinine
Blood Urea Nitrogen / Creatinine ratio (done at a special request at no extra charge, please hand a copy of this email at the reception or to the nurse)
Bilirubin
Alkaline Phosphatase
AST
ALT
- £46 (approx $92)
Testosterone (Free and Total) - £238 ($476)
LH - £46 (approx $92)
Estradiol - £46 (approx $92)
Thyroid Hormone Panel (T3, T4 Total and Free, TSH)
Thyroid Profile 1, which includes T4 and TSH and add T3 and Free T4 as separate tests and this would cost £150 ( approx $300)
Thyroid Profile 2, which for as little as £10 (approx $20) extra will also include Free T3 and Thyroid Antibodies.
Cheers guys
