Can you build muscle on 1 set per week?

One set per major bodypart. After you have warmed your body up. The heaviest set possible to failure (4-6 reps). Maybe do one full body W/O per week. Thanks.
 
It is called HIT training, you will probably make gains, but not as much as more sets and not such a high intenesity, plus going to failure every set is bad for the CNS, so you would have to take more time off from training, it would work but there are alot better ways.
