I eat basic Brown long grain rice with no crap added.

Trouble is...I'm sooooooo bored of it.

I have tried spicing it up with vinegar (quite good actually) and sometimes hot peppers - but even thats getting bland.

How do I make my rice taste better???

Suggestions!? :>

THANKS!

make egg fried rice with it, u get added benefits of egg, just add egg, soy sauce and oyster sauce.

cook it in a few cubes of chicken boullion if you don't mind the sodium.

Curry paste, cillantro, onions, cumin seeds, chili powder, ground coriander

Thanks for all the suggestions guys. I picked up a lot of the ingredients last night and am enjoying some FAR more interesting rice right now.

Actually - I found this great site aswell.

http://www.ricegourmet.com/

Has recipes from all over the world!

Muscle Gelz Transdermals
IronMag Labs Prohormones
Salsa

i sometimes use pretty hot salsa, either from the shops or home made.
Also sometimes i go for a bit of dolmio sauce, but this is higher in sugar..

I think the two compliment each other well, the kind of nutty taste of the rice and the insane heat of salsa.

I wish there was a good recipe site that had recipes that used foods that the "normal" guy would have in his fridge or pantry. All these gourmet sites have like 1,000 ingredients to them.

I use to always use the book A Man A Can A Plan. That was a pretty simple to make most of the recipes.

Yea, there is a trend of common ingredients though that I bought the other night.

tumeric
cumin
mustard seed
curry powder
soy sauce
vege oil

I picked the lot up for less than $20 and have been mixing them up and experimenting a little and enjoying my rice loads!
