I read the article about carb cycling and im planning it today but in the article he is not clear about how much fat one should take in. On my NO carb day i have to take in like 130g of fat. Is that acceptable?

If you are talking about TP's carb cycling plan then this fat intake is too high.

how can i get around 250g of protein without taking in 50+g of fat without eating 10 cans of tuna a day?

Protein Shakes
Chicken
Low Fat Cottage Cheese
Lean Beef

Just to name a few:D

The Tuna I eat has 2.5g of fat per can. 10 cans=25g of fat.

Thats too much fat for tuna it seems. Get a lower fat tuna. What is chicken of the sea? Is it chicken or fish? :confused: LOL

What do you think is too many fat grams on a no carb day on TPs plan? The absolute minimum is probably gonna be 30 grams or so.

Actually, the article does discuss it.

When you add up:

* fat from lean protein
* fat from (low-fat) carb sources
* fat from the two higher fat protein meals
* EFAs (preferably fish oil)

You should be in the range of 40-60 grams of fat, depending on your BW. This is each and every day.

What would be a good calorie intake amount for someone weighing 190lbs Twin Peak???
Great articles by the way!!:thumb:

Great articles by the way!!:thumb:

10-13 calories per pound of body weight

Icky-10 cans a day? I need some variety in my diet, thats for sure!

I don't eat 10 cans a day!!! Only 1.5 and I'm sick of that. I have to keep cooking it different ways to get it down now :)

I've been looking into this plan also, but am confused about the no carb day. No carb is ~10 grams for that day, right? So if I need to take in 2800cals a day, the no carb day would look like this:
Carbs = 10grams ----> 40 cals
Fat = 50grams -------> 450 cals
so therefore......I have 2310 cals left for protein, which will be...
Protein = 577 GRAMS :hair: !!!

Am I seeing this wrong??

Protein should stay consistent throughoutt the different days.

Cals will vary. No Carb day will be below Maint
So assuming you are 200 lbs

you should be getting 200+ g of Protein per day divided evenly in the meals.

You don't want to keep you cal total the same with the different cycles they will vary depending on the Carb intake.

Pro and Fat should stay pretty close to the same every day.

wow, after reading that i feel stupid now.... I guess that is why it is called CARB CYCLING :doh: :suicide: :suicide:
