OK, here's a weird question, maybe someone can answer. I read that some fighters wear boots during cardio sessions to improve foot speed. I'm not sure if this will really improve foot speed as much as giving you the feeling of being faster when you take the boots off.
My question though is, will training with boots on be detremental to my body? Will this injure my feet or calves in any way? I'm thinking of trying to wear my work boots when I skip rope for 40 minutes tonight.
