I need a good shock...so here's the plan:

old/current split:
M: chest/bis
T: front & med delts/traps/hams
W: quads/calves
F: Back/tris

M: same as above
T: " " and a light back WO
W: " " and light bis
F: " " and chest

I'm gonna do 4 exercises for the regular groups and 2 or so for the lighter (secondary groups) and try to keep it under 45min...

Opinions?

If your going to do this, I would drop your arm and shoulder workouts cause they're gonna get hit ever day anyway.

Why do you put bi's with chest and tri's with back? I do them the other way round, seeing as when you do back you automatically do bi's (and the same for chest & tris).
Is it because you can get a better workout when your bi's tri's haven't already been worked?

I don't think you have enough time to recover corn, a LIGHT workout may help a little but I think your just waisting time IMO.

As far as the bi/tri back/chest thing, its more personal preff, some feel that they aren't getting as good of a workout doing back and bi's, chest and tri's but I think its more of a mental thing because your arms are pre fatigued. Both ways work IMO.

Ok...ok :grumble: I wasn't making it permanent...just a 2week trist.

as for the preference, I base my decisioin on the amount of forearm fatigue from back WO (i refuse to use straps :barf: ) and while targeting and isolation is a heated subject, my forearms (mainly brachialis) can't keep up and therefore hold me back and many times, I couldn't even get a mild pump outta it

Do you use a thumbless grip Corn? if not, I strongly suggest you start, once you get use to it, you'll never go back.

actually, I go thumbless on everything ... back, bis, chest, tris, traps... even lateral delt raises :D
