hey all how goes it? Just registered and this is the deal. I'm on phase 2 of p90x, and so far so good. I've gotten pretty tired of all the push-ups, and today I switched them out for free weights. looked around and threw
this together.
flat bench 3-6 sets pyramided
incline db the same " "
cable crossovers 3-4 sets the same " "
Then I do the shoulders and triceps part of the workout
I want size that's why I dropped the p-ups. I don't want to be in the gym all day, but I want my time there to count.
Also sick of the lunges so I started doing squats, seated leg curls and calf raise on leg and back day. P90 isn't perfect by any stretch but with some modification it works for me.
I joined planet fitness because its convenient. thing is they don't have a flat bench, just a smith machine that I'm not crazy about. The motion is to restrictive. Good for squats but little else. So suggestions would be helpful-for a chest workout that is. thanks in advance.
