Whats the fastest and best way to get my cholesterol back to normal?

Here's the deal, I'm 7 weeks in my first cycle of Test E, and noticed yesterday I have lump near my belly button. Went to the doctor today and sure shit, hernia. He is setting me up with an appointment to see a surgeon, but said Ill have to have pre-surgery blood work (cholesterol, red blood cell count, platelets) done before the surgery. Is there anything I can do to get these inline fast?

I was planning on 10 weeks, and obviously I'm cutting this short. Should I still start PCT in 2 weeks?

Also, how will the hernia repair affect my future workouts and look?

Thanks for your responses.

I'd pm Heavyiron, TGB or Built on this. Sorry to hear about hernia that suck's. I heard duck tape works on everything...... I'm just sayin. LOL, seriously I hope it all runs smooth for you brother.

Other than statins, red yeast rice is the only thing that will lower LDL in that amount of time. red yeast rice is actually a natural statin. As for HDL, I don't think there is time to fix that, but it's not uncommon for men to have low HDL. I'd consider donating blood for blood count too.

Your blood work is gonna be a bit off probably but not by too much considering its only test.
I have a belly button hernia I have had for a few months and Im dreading the time off for surgery.
For cholesterol you should always be using:
Fish oil at least 3g daily
Niacin.

Or just eat plenty of fatty fish like salmon, good protein too.:winkfinger:

I trained for a full year after discovering my first femoral hernia. I would just finish my cycle.

The doc used the mesh repair after I told him I needed to be able to train heavy. I was back to light lifting in 6-7 weeks. The repair has held up really well over the years.

Just discovered I have an umbilical hernia as well. I will get it fixed after summer.

I love Cholestoff for lipids. I also use omega 3 fish oils and fiber but nothing works as good as Cholestoff for me.

You're one of the guys I was waiting to chime in. So your advice is to tough it out, finish the cycle, PCT and postpone anything medical? I suppose as long as I keep an eye on it so it doesn't strangulate I should be ok. It doesn't really hurt as much as it's just uncomfortable. Feels like someone has their finger in my belly button all the time.

Yeah, just keep it pushed in when you can. I just push mine back in after the sets. Its no biggie if you keep an eye on it. If it strangulates you are in big trouble so monitor it all the time.

I doubt they will be able to schedule surgery right away anyway. I think it took my doc 2 weeks before he had any openings.
