Is a few cups of coffee mixed with skim milk beneficial or not so good for you?

Beneficial how? If it fits in your diet plan I don't see an issue with it at all. Used as a preworkout drink for extra energy it works well. It just depends if the calories from the milk and sweetner fit into your diet plan.

yeah, need more clarification on the benefits desired. I used to read a lot about one to two cups of coffee boosting metabolism blah blah blah in my M&F reading days but truth be told I think that's a bunch of bull sht. I tried caffeine supplements and the only thing I could see is that the stimulant might decrease your appetite and that's it. But I have a huge tolerance for caffeine so it never did anything for me

best workout recently, involved a unsweetened black shot of espresso as i was getting dressed.. delicious and energizing

Does coffee have any negative effects on my health pre or post workout? I only drink black coffee with skim milk.

My body adapts very quickly to caffeine, then it doesn't seem to give me as much energy.

What I do is stop drinking coffee for 3 weeks a couple of times a year. I find that when I start again, I can really feel the difference in terms of energy and fat loss.

BTW I only ever drink black coffee, at the most three cups a day, one or two in the morning, another at lunch and never after 3pm.

When I am not drinking coffee, I get the very best sleep possible. I think that is very important if you are trying to gain mass.

Nothing wrong with it.
Drinking a cup prior to a workout can help with endurance.

Coffee has calories? I know the skim milk certainly does. I cut out soda and beer all together. Drinking 2 L of water a day and a few cups of coffee close to my workouts...how's that for a new years resolution!?

I love coffee but for me it ruins my appetite. I also suffer from coffee withdrawel symptoms if I go a day without it so I prefer to stay caffiene free. That's just me though.

lol...yea if you make it like I do it does! But when I start cutting it won't really have much though. I gotta have some type of creamer though.

yep this is why caffeine products help people lose weight often because it can curb the appetite. I can drink coffee in the morning and make it til the evening with no food.

Solid, thanks Merkaba...I had a coffee after my workout- definitely holds me over for a while!!
