I just remembered the topic we had in our high school class years ago. Decided to share it with you. If you could talk to any person living or already dead for an hour, who would it be and what would you like to talk about?

I'd really like to talk to my Dad for an hour about a lot of different things and then life and death, he passed in 2017.

I'm so sorry: losing your Dad must have left you devastated. I hope you had moments together to treasure now. All we can do now is to pass love and support on to our kids and grandchildren.

Yes, it was really hard to lose him, even though he was 91, he was always there to talk and give counsel, I lost my mother back in 1991, she was only 61, colon cancer. I had a wonderful childhood, parents who were always there and always supportive, they only ask that I do my best. I often think about how I wish I could just sit and talk about things with him. Just be grateful for the time you have with your parents and those you care about.

Your words brought tears to my eyes and you’re absolutely right, our parents are the only barrier between us and eternity!
