Is cous cous THAT bad for a cut?
I've always stuck to brown rice, but recently tried some cous cous. Delicious stuff. But to me it tasted like ground up spaghetti. So I searched here and people are saying it's GI was in the 80's. But that was a long time ago ...
Based on a google search, the GI for brown rice is 59
(http://www.southbeachdietguide.com/gi-charts.html)
And cous cous is 65:
On the GI database (http://www.glycemicindex.com/) it says Cous Cous is about 61 and Brown Rice is 50.
-------
When I look up on Fit-Day ... Cous Cous on there has similar properties of what my GF bought. And it seems that it has more sodium, potasium and vitamins than regular brown rice.
HELLPPP I BEGGG YOUUUU!
