Hi every body,,,

Currently I have time to go to the gym 5 to 6 times a week but soon I will get married and I doubt that I can go this much.. I might reduce the days to 3 times a week doing weights only. I am thinking about buying a cardio machine to use it home the days I don???t go to the gym. Therefore, what do you suggest me to buy, Cross trainer or treadmills? My target only to keep my current shape at least. I might go back to normal but not in the first year of my new life.

Thanks,

If I may be so bold....
Why not go with the elliptical? Ellipticals have less impact on your joints than running on a treadmill. Also, you get some arm action in there too. If you want to run, you can always go jog around your neighborhood. In terms of running/jogging if you suffer from a running injury from your jogs through the neighborhood you could still use the elliptical. Imagine, using the treadmill and getting shin splints or runners knee (if you are prone to that like I am). You would be stuck with a treadmill that you could not use because of your injury. At least with an elliptical, I've been able to use it in spite of my shin splints and runners knee.
These are just my opinions based on my experience only. Take it for what it's worth.
Take care....

Ellipticals are nice. Treadmills are pretty much a cardio standard in many circles. I prefer the STAIRMASTER!!

This grueling torture device gives me twice the calorie burn that I would normally get on any other machine!

Another inexpensive option is to just go out and buy yourself a jump rope and hop away at it for an hour. Trust me, this will smoke you.

Good Luck and Congrats on getting married!
