With limited time on my hands I decided I want to start compensatiting days spent at the gym with time spent at the gym. i. e. I currently go to the gym about 4 times a week, and spend about an hour to an hour and a half each day there. I'd like to push all my exercises into two days, likr chest/triceps legs monday, and back/biceps shoulders tuesday. And probably spend between 2-3 hours at the gym each day. This may not be optimal I understand but I'm not exactly a religious bodybuilder and slightly slower results won't really phase me. Whats everyones thoughts?

Sounds fine to me, you could also get some weights for your home. I have several DB's so I can do some arms and deltoid work at home if needed.

train upper one day and lower the next. Or you could split them up like you have it but why does it have to take 2-3 hours to train? You should still be able to do the workout in under an hour. Lower your volume since you are doing more in one session.

i just started doing an upper and lower split. if you work with great intensity and circuit train, it is pretty quick and a good workout. i actually think i train better when i do that.
