I'm planning on heading into a game on Friday in Wrigleyville (chicago's north side) to see the Cubs play the Pirates. Allowed to bring in food, but I have no idea what to pack!? I'm totally into the veggies, but I don't want to bring fruit, becuase I'm cutting and don't want to go over my glycogen stores without exercising. I am planning on bringing raw almonds, maybe some whey protein will they allow powder protein ? Any food ideas would be huge.

Not having beer either, or the hot dogs, or deep dish pizza (as much as I want to).

Man up.

Eat your meals pre and post, but just grab a bag of peanuts and stop being a fairy. For christs sake, it's America's Pastime.

yeah, i guess being labeled as the "lovable losers", i guess i could toss a few back in the bleachers

The bleachers are a warzone, especially on a Friday.

Drink up.

Any good beer at Wrigley? Just asking.

Fenway has some decent beer but you've got to know where to get it. And bring your paycheck.

Fenway is ridiculously overpriced, but Wrigley isn't too far behind.

They're trademark is Old Style, but for the extra quarter I go with the Bud Light. I haven't been to the Bud Light Bleachers since they were introduced, but I can't imagine they have anything more than Bud Heavy/Light/Select on tap. Around the park they have a few nice beer stands, but that involves getting up and 45 minutes of waiting which is just retarded.

Try asking for no ice with the Mai Tai's.. my friend almost got the boot from the game because he refused to pay unless there was no ice in it. Haha...

Yeah, I'd say $7.75 for a 12 ounce Guinness is a bit on the high end, which is why I limit myself to only 3 or 4. :p

Actually, I usually fill up at the Beerworks before the game. $6 for a 22oz microbrew.

gains were goin so good too! i guess one day won't kill me if i don't go overboard...no way around it.

Get over it, one day is not going to hurt your cut.

Bring some peanuts, almonds what ever some granola bars maybe, protein bar, pre-make some sandwich's maybe idn one day really wont hurt and if you haven't had a cheat day in a while maybe you should just let lose and enjoy the game to the fullest have a hot dog or 2 and a beer it'll do you good. Enjoy the game!

I went to a baseball game today, didn't drink and just had some peanuts before eating a big meal when I got home.

It can be done, but I don't think it's necessary to be that neurotic. One day cheating isn't going to kill you.

I semi-cheated with a beer and a bag of peanuts...had to get a snack also so i got a granola bar. whatever, im hitting the weights tonight and doing some HIIT training tomorrow most likely.

not too bad, dude. you could have done MUCH worse.

Yeah, and plus they won, so I could have just gotten shit faced after or during! which equals munching on shit too. Go cubs go, go cubs go, hey Chicago what do you say? THE CUBS ARE GONNA WIN TODAY!
