so i made a realization about 5 minutes ago. My arms really havent gotten bigger in 4 years of sporadic lifting... even when i was consistant. I have cycled my diet with +calories and calorie deficits(sp?). but the damn things just wont grow. Granted I have never really cared and never given them much attention, but still it seems like they are out of proportion now.
198lbs 15" arms

past training has shifted but on the average I do on average 3 compound push exercises and 3 pulls with 1-2 isolation exercises per week. I am now doing power rr and shock because in the past it has proven to work for me... why I havent been doing it this whole time... who knows.

so I am curious, what has worked for you with your arms?

do you suggest I work my arms more often? if so what way? compound/isolation? how frequently?

I am cutting right now so it may be a pointless attempt... I probably wont be willing to change my diet.

so in 4 yeras they havent grown 1/2 inch..
have they got more ripped and more defined??
because 4 years is a long time and u cannot physically not change if urconstantly lifting n shit u kno.

try some supps maybe

more definition, yes but not much more size.

i do multivit/protein

Squats!!!!

How tall are you? 198 pounds with 15" arms isn't bad if you're on the taller side and somewhat lean. I consider that to be in good proportion.

Have you noticed how arms are what people always complain are too small? There's a reason. It's not because people don't train them, as we well know. It's because people have this fucked up misconception about how big your arms need to be compared to the rest of your body. Unless you have the genetics for it, you aren't going to make your arms grow way bigger without the rest of you growing. Could you spark some isolated growth there? I'm sure, but you aren't going to add 2" to your arms without packing on quite a bit of mass everywhere else.

It seems it's your attitude to training and diet that needs changing, especialy based on those 2 sentences I've quoted.

If you don't get the basics right, you won't make any progress. Trust me on this.

Exactly. And squats, deads and bench are compound movements that will add overall mass.

That don't sound bad at all. Sometimes my arms won't grow for 3 or 4 sessions, then they start again. I might put on a 1/2 inch in a month, or it just won't happen. Either way that sounds decent size for your weight.

damn arms?

hey your biceps and triceps should only be worked on one day a week. Because we all know that muscles only grow during rest, not while working out. I have a proven method to add inches to your arms in as little as 6 months worth of hard work. It involves supersets, protein intakes and use of proven supplements. This is not a ploy to sell you something, trust me I had small arms at one time and now that I'm 39 years old my arms have hit the 22 inch mark.write me back and I will break it all down for you.

Can you post for everyone to see?
