do you do them on back day?gopro said:Partial, rack deadlifts is the superior move in my opinion.
Yes, they take legs out of the movement. It's all back and grip.westb51 said:do you do them on back day?

I find the 45's make them pretty partial anyway.gopro said:Partial, rack deadlifts is the superior move in my opinion.

I never use a belt,if you start training without a belt you'll build a strong enough back to not need one.Check my gallery,i can deadlift and squat over 500lbs without needing a belt.redspy said:GP: for regular deads do you use a belt?

I stopped using a belt for squats and deads a while ago and am glad I did. My form is much better and I don't have concerns about being too reliant on it.BIGDAVE said:Thanks.
I've never used a belt since i started training and i've never felt i needed one.My philosiphy is that if you start without one as you get stronger so does your back and you'll never need one.I hate seeing guys who dont have a clue wearing belts constantly, they wear them for benching and for using machines.
The only time i've injured my back was a month before christmas when i started getting backpain and nerve pain down my legs because i hurt it running. But after a 2 month rest off deadlifting and squating i was back up to 500 pounds.
