Are there exercises you can recommend? Exercises you would caution against. I started working out several months ago and developed tendonitis. Think it was the supination curls that I learned from Arnold's book many many years ago.

I've been dealing with the same problem over the last month or so. Most Dr recommend stop doing exercises that continually irritate the tendons until they heal, and of course that time varies. Rest and Ice are the best, but I've found lots of Ibuprofen and some good elbow wraps plus using less weight with more reps still helps me work the biceps and triceps to get a good work out. Muscles grow faster than tendons when it comes to strength and most of us either push to hard to fast or get injured by trying to do more weight and using bad form. Either way, lighten it up and take it easy for a while till things start to feel better then just don't push it too fast again.

i developed tendonitis in my lower right tricep, towards the elbow, i think they consider it tennis elbow? im not sure. I also had a serious wrist injury, wont go into detail, but there was tendon damage there, this was a good while ago. Swimming really helped me exercise both, they felt better after. maybe a good way to go about rehabilitating in your case, just an idea, good luck man.

i got a bad case of it from wrestling. i had to just take a break from lifting and wrestling..it cleared itself up in about 4 weeks. also took advil to help with the pain
