Well...except that blacks will expect Obama to give them their reparations for slavery...which ended almost two centuries ago.

He has one the most liberal left wing voting record of anyone on gun issues. Biden as well. The Brady Campaign declared it a huge victory when he won. They don't want "sensible" gun control. If they had their way, they'd completely prevent law abiding people from owning anything other than a shotgun.

It's just another example of his ideological views. A perfect health care system under which the quality of health care is as good as it is now, but everyone has it-IMPOSSIBLE. The ideological view that if you restrict guns even more, criminals will follow the gun laws-impossible.

I think it's conceivable that there could be some new ridiculous legislation to restrict the second ammendment. However, I don't think there would ever be legislation stating that guns could be taken away from the citizens... that would almost definitely set off a civil war.

the constitution was made to be changed, take a second and think of the intentions of the document. it was never meant to be set in stone, hence the ability to amend it.

consider the 2nd and 3rd amendment, this was a direct result of British abuse of power, and were major factors in the success of the revolution. do you worry about quartering of soldiers in private houses during peace time? where is the organization protecting that? our reasoning for bearing arms is completely different from the original intentions. we do not need them to keep america free, they did. but reason rarely counts in these arguments. as for commenting iq, that is laughable.

I live/grew up in the south, with hateful/ignorant people on both sides who lump people into groups/categories. Wouldn't you think that in my "magical land" (where it was once common for people to own slaves) that if people were talking about reparations that we would be the first to know...?
