I'm confused, I thought republicans want to bomb the middle east and turn it into a sheet of glass, yet they get uppity when the president wants to do it? This country is fucked, Bush making up his own rules, Obama making up his own rules, Senators and Congresspersons and Secretaries of this and that acting dumb to stir up shit. Both of those 2 men know the constitution and know that it takes an act of congress to declare war or any military action that could be construed as such, this looks like a charade from the get go....I call their bluff what it's about I'm not sure yet, something to do with either rendering the UN and Nato less powerful? It's not clear yet, but I see some ulterior motive here...

that's some of the reasons why I stopped watching the news decades ago. the stuff that's on tv and other mainstream "news" media outlets is all a show for the voters, it's bullshit. when you read the legislation and testimony from Congress the House, the special reports that get released, etc. there is none of this crap. people forget that in the US being a politician is a career, this occurs in no other country's. from the state rep on up these people are making 4x what the average US worker is making plus all the bennies and more. they sell the sheep that they represent the rhetoric that they want to hear so they get re-elected and don't end up in the food stamp lines that they created.

they should televise every single hour of US politicians in the Senate and House 24-7 it should all be available for public viewing. but of course they don't want people to really be informed, they want people to think they are informed.
