I'm going to spend a week with my girlfirend at the seaside so i will be unable to workout at a gym. I wonder If i can make this week DELOAD WEEK. I mean i will do 3 bodyweight only routines (or with my girflriend 50kg). For example

1. chest/shoulders/triceps

1. chair pushups with my GF sitting on my back 3 x Max
2. normal pushups with my GF sitting on my back 3 x Max
3. "bench dips" with my GF on my laps 3 x Max
4. chair dips 3 x Max
5. Laterals with sth that wieght 10-12kg 4 x max

2. back/biceps

1. BW pullups 8 x Max
2. BW close grip chinups 8 x Max

3. legs

1. squats with my GF on my back or shoudlers 6 x Max
2. bulgarian split squat 4 x Max
3. Calve raises (donkey) 5 x Max

You see what i mean. Is it a good idea when i dont have any equipment? or should i just take this week completely off....(i dont like it......)

Don't take the week off. But take advantage of the time away from the gym and definitely deload. Bodyweight stuff will keep the muscle from degenerating. People are unstable weights, if she leans a bit to one side, or goes off balance, you might end up with more weight on one side than you can handle.

Try clapping pushups. Or one armed, instead.

Don't fart around with bodyweight exercises or getting hurt by trying to throw your girl around. Take the week off completely and enjoy the time off. If you've been hitting the gym hard for a while your whole body will especially thank you. You will not loose muscle mass in a week or get weaker. You will probably return stronger and well rested with your CNS reset and ready to go.

Well said. It is very hard for us harcore guys to take some time off. But, it is something that is very necessary from time to time.

Deload is deload. Just relax. If that means doing some body weight squats and push ups, or doing nothing at all, then so be it. Don't sweat the details, enjoy your vacation.
