i started my cut 8 weeks ago, and lost about 17 lbs.
i know i would lose some muscle, but i keep getting comments that i got small, or you still go the gym?. my goal is to get lean, so when i hear those types of comments, i feel smaller...not leaner. then i ask them if they're saying its a good thing or bad. and of course theyre not going to say its bad
... so, just looking for some thoughts or advise about my cut. i lost about 1.5 to 2 lbs. a week. i do high fat/protein and low carb, and incorporate refeed/ carb load up on saturday or sunday. i lift heavy, low volume, mostly compound.

do i look like i just got smaller? i felt that way after the first few weeks, but as my midsection started lean out, i became more positive about it.
overall, im happy with my appearance. my goal is drop to low bodyfat% and get the abs showing. but these comments i get sometimes makes me double think whether or not to continue my cut or to start bulking up.:bawling::headbang:

Looks like you did a good job at cutting to me. I don't see much muscle loss if any at all. Definitely have much better definition. Congrats!!

Yeah, I agree. Looks to me you did a pretty good job.

thanks for the replies, good to know others think im on the right track, ima keep at what ive been doing, cut another 15 lbs, before i work back up.

Looks good. It's hard to hold on to muscle when doing stuff natural (which I guess you are). If you can afford it you gotta keep your protein and general profile up while still keeping your totals under maintenance and the only way to do this is by cutting out the empty calorie stuff.

Also remember that it can take a few years of cycling the bulk/cut routine to really start dialing stuff in. Keep it up

When I cut people comment on how I'm looking smaller. With clothes on you will look smaller, but it looks like you did a good job. They won't notice the definition your gaining.
