Hey guys
I need some help with my diet going for low carb high proteindiet to help lose some body fat
Im 6?1 230 athletic build I lift weights 5xs a week

Breakfast (after workout) about 7 am
3 eggs
3 pieces of bacon
Protein shake with water

Snack 9-10 am
Can of tuna

Lunch 11:30-12
Whole chicken breast
2 cups of broccoli

Snack 2-3 pm
Bag of beef jerky or another can of tuna

Dinner 5-6pm
Either ground beef or chicken breast
2 cups of vegie
Protein shake

Snack 8
2 tsp of peanut butter
Or string cheese




If anyone has any thing to add plz tell me the more help thebetter

Right off I would cut out the bacon unless its turkey bacon. Pork bacon had tons of fat in it you don't need if you're trying to cut fat. Probably cut the beef jerky too.

High protein diet like beef,fish,eggs,nuts are source of making fat. Reduce high protein food in your diet. Eat vegetables and fresh fruits to loose fat. Exercise daily at least 30 minutes to 1 hour in a day.If you want to lose your body fat you need to give it some time. Exercise regularly, eat healthy diet, avoid high protein food your fat will loose soon.

Lol. Probably work for a Next Top Model diet but this is a body building website. You need lots and lots of protein to build muscle and eating the right kinds of protein will not make you fat. If you go with a low protein diet you will actually lose muscle that you already have and then your body will actually burn less calories causing you to gain more fat. Figure out your BMR and TDEE and eat 500 calories below to lose weight/fat. Get your macros right and you should see a difference in a few weeks time.
 
That's not a low carb diet. That is a pure keto diet. I'm not a big fan of keto for bodybuilding but some do like it. If you start feeling like shit up your fat intake a bit. Try adding a teaspoon of extra virgin olive oil on top of your food. I would up your protein intake a bit too.

Avoid High Protein food? Wow, now ive heard it all.


To the OP,

Moderate carbs low fat high protien on workout days, low carb moderate fat ( healthy fats ) on non workout days.

Or you can go Keto, 7 on 1 re feed 7 on.

Low carb 30g or less, 100-130g Healthy fats, 230-300g protein.

Try to get in some fasted hiit cardio, you will see results in no time.
