so first off this question isnt for me, it is for my mother.
she is about 5' 4" 120lbs and in her opinion she thinks she is the fattest woman in the world. lol. anyways she cant really excersize all that well because she has a broken hip that is pretty much done after surgery, and she has a really bad wrist as well. so i think if she wants to lose weight the only thing she can really do for it is diet.

now here is the pain in the ass part, she says she cannot eat veggies cause they give her this horrible gas, she claims she has tried all the stuff out there to cure gas like beano and what not.

her goal is to lose the love handles and get around 110 pounds, any suggestions on food intake? and how much of it should she be eating?

What is her current diet looking like. IMO its a really bad move to just say "I won't eat vegetables" - are there specific vegetables she has a problem with? Also there are options like powdered greens that will help that issue.

yeah, this is where i lose patience with her, she claims every veggie on the face of the earth makes her explode like mt st helens.

her diet usually consists of
1/2 a cup of oat meal and a apple for breakfast( no sugar in the oats, with nonfat milk)

another piece of fruit (apple banana or orange)

pbj sandwich on wholewheat bread

1/2 chicken breast

bowl of wheaties with nonfat milk.

yes yes, a shit diet lol. what foods would you recomend for her, and what about the powdered greens what are those?

FitDay - Free Weight Loss and Diet Journal

Have her enter her food and post up the macronutrient mix, okay?

PS no dieting until that hip heals. You do NOT want to try to heal a broken bone with no food!

yeah, i will try to have her do fitday, she cant stand computers. her hip isnt really broken, she broke it when she was 5 years old, got 2 hip replacements between then and now, and this last one is deteriorating however there is not enough bone left in the socket to put a new hip joint in. pretty bad situation. she can still walk at a slower pace, but after about 2 miles shes in alot of pain.

sassy, i apreciate the help, i will tell her about the powdered greens
