In the last two years I have managed to get rid of 10" of belly but now I am left with flabby arms/legs (no fat but just loose skin) and a more 'respectable' belly and body of 23 per cent.

What I want to do is put on muscle to 'fill up' my limbs; so I have started on a muscle building lifting workout. My query is should I exercise each muscle group intensively once a week as in a 3 day split, or less intensively 2 or 3 times a week?

Many trainers tell me to work out the big 4 groups (+abs) 3 times a week.

How about the cardio? At the moment I am doing 20-30 minutes on my off days but then I still have quite a lot of fat so maybe I should do it after my weights - but then I might not gain any muscle.

This is my dilemma --- advice greatly appreciated. Thanks

I saw "loose skin" just one time with a friend that lost a lot of fat in a short period. I imagine that it must be quite bad, isn´t it ?

Here we believe in "cutting" or "bulking", that is loose fat or focus on gaining muscle. It is easier to accomplish one at the time. You should decide what you wanna do, I would suggest you go for the bulking phase right now. In order to do that, you must get some knowledge in the dieting part of the game. Post your diet in the forum. We will tell you what we think.

The training part we don´t agree that much, I do one or two muscle groups per day. I go to the gym 6 days a week. That works for me.
I can´t talk about cardio, I hate it :) Cardio is overrated.
