Hey all,
I work out at home and don't have a dip station. I'd like to start doing dips. Any creative ideas on improvising for getting these done without buying a dip station.

Just Curious
Thanks

I used to dip between the gap in the kitchen tops. Also two chairs work great if they are not too low/to light.

yep. do them in the corner of the kitchen bench

Do them off the edge of your weight bench, and place your feet out onto a stool. If thats too easy, place a few plates on your lap for extra weight.

That bench dips (for Tri's mainly), I thought the question was about normal dips (ie dip station) which is also for Tri's but can be for chest.

Myself...I only do dips on days I do chest and tris together. They are weighted and I go extremely deep.

How the hell do you do normal dips on a table? My kitchen table would break for sure..

who does them on a table?

Confused totally I guess. I just never saw anything about a table!

I know, who said anything about a table?

You can do them in the kitchen in the right angle where your kitchen bench wraps around. Not parallel like a proper dips station but it works.

Also for dips, try cheese and onion or avocado :lick:

Yea, I misread Karl's post.

Bear ,

Don't know what you ahve available but here's what I use. Cost less than $20 to make. If i was to do it over I would use a larger diameter pipe though.

Thanks all (thanks for the Pic Gary)
I think I'll build some sort of station

LOL... that is the most ghetto dip station I have ever seen.
