I read in the latest issue of Muscular Development that it is wise to freeze your needle before injecting to reduce pain. Has anyone tried this? I couldn't find much information on this.

Never heard of this method before or understand how a cold needle would reduce pip. The needle is dry and surgical steel, so it won't freeze, just get cold.

I've read that also but no I do not freeze my needles.

After you remove from the freezer, condensation must form. I think that moisture could compromise the sterility of the needle.

i like to freeze my butt cheeks and legs before i shoot

The pain of the stick isn't really shit...if you need to freeze a pin to avoid that prick feeling you should look for a new hobby.

Lol'd

I'm sure this is more common then I expect, but I don't see the point.

Metal like any substance except water will contract and get smaller when frozen. So maybe they recommend it to reduce trauma to the muscle tissue.

I've never heard of such nonsense

It could also warp the needle and increase trauma to muscle tissue

Never heard of it, nor do I need to 'reduce the pain' of a little tiny needle prick. Silliness

Never heard of it....but I did freeze some water...it was cold like ice:)

By far the funniest thing I've read on this board

Lol, never heard of freezing needles. In my opinion anyone who worries about injection pain has no business using a syringe.

I have also found it wise to engage in Zumba instead of lifting to decrease pain and soreness in the injection sites

As suspected. Long time no see sailor.

Anything found in muscular development should not be taken as advice but more as a joke or gimmick lol. All the pros got big on creatine only by cell tech too.

Another MIA. How's the cat tower?

I didn't mean to come off like a sissy. I guess I shouldn't have used the word "pain." I was just curious about what everyone else thought.

It's ok man, we don't judge sissies here

and by being frozen it would contract the skin and to me i would think it would make the injection WORSE.
if anything a warm needle is better imo.

seems like they are running out of shit to say! lol. havent bought an MD in years. now i usually know everything they are going to talk about in the "new issue" since I am always reading up. once and a while there is an article worth reading... but ill juts stand in the store for 5-10min to read it....

agreed.. only pain related to shots i may worry about is test that is 400-450mg/ml and that pain is not even on the same day, its next day and then gone in a couple. really only sucks if your trying to have hard sex and your quad shot is making you bang it like a drunk chicken! haha
