I have seen so many people using such bad form, and I want to say something but I never do because I don't want to offend them. Have you ever given advice?

I laugh and roll my eyes while wishing they break a bone and never walk again.

I would, but the people at my gym wouldn't listen.

I give advice if the person looks like they'd accept it. I'm a woman, so if its another female and she clearly doesn't know what she is doing, I'm more than happy to help her out. Men are a bit less likely to accept weight lifting advice from a woman.

No, because they are obviously smarter, and dont need to listen.

i found that 99% of the time people dont want unsolicited advice, they think that those 135 pound back curls they are doing in their hour long bicep routine are the golden road to bigness. if someone asks me i always i give what pointers i can.

Muscle Gelz Transdermals
IronMag Labs Prohormones
I only give advice to people I know and only if I know there gonna listen.

Nope!

It's none of my business why people do what they do...

I don't want advice and I don't give it.

I especially don't want advice from some one who is really not built enough to be giving it.

Besides, I can't hear a damn thing with Metallica blasting in my head phones anyway!!

Now, if Arnold, Zane Grey, Dave Draper or one of those types of people came in and started offering advice, I'd be all ears!!

I do to my little high school kids, cuz they just don't know the whole ropes yet. I try to teach them proper form and the mind to muscle thing, cuz i would've greatly appreciated if someone would've done that for me when i started. instead, i had a few years of not quite "wasted" training, but not nearly "maximized" training either.

then of course there's the douchebags that throw on way too much weight and have no idea what they're doing. those guys i get a feeling of hatred and pity for. i think i hate them b/c they all think their the shit for loading up the bar. but hell, i could 3-inch squat 750lbs to their 400. i feel pity b/c these poor lost souls will be doing the same half ass exercizes with the same weight and have the same physiques till they quit bodybuilding due to frustration.

i don't help these guys, and try to avoid them as much as possible.
Actually I refrain myself from killing them (which i guess you could call "help"

Just becase someone isnt built, doesnt mean they dont know anything. Take Arnold for instance. He thinks you can build your 'upper' chest. He obviously knows nothing about human physiology.

See above. These guys are oldschool, and even though they were big, they werent the sharpest tools in the shed.

Especially Arnold. He's such a dumbass it's a wonder how he became so successful in life. Reknown for being a shrewd businessman and investor? Luck! And as for becoming governor of the most populous state in the union, I guess everyone in California are idiots too for electing him. Wow, what a moron he is.

If you were judging solely on his Bodybuilding encyclopedia, you would think he was a dumbass.

I have on a few occassions...but it totally depends on the person in need. I once saw an older guy attempting to squat, and he was using the squat rack wrong, and really really risking injury...so I asked him if he minded some advise...and he said "YES, PLEASE". I've also given females advice on multiple occassions when they clearly looked like they wanted and needed it.

Jealousy does breed hatred

Chris I got some advice for you!!! Send that smoking woman in your sig over this way!!

I will give advice and criticism to my little brother until his ears bleed, but other than that I dont say much, unless I see some young kid (appearing to be under 14 or so) doing something that is sure to cause injury.

It just doesnt seem to be worth the time or effort to try to help others regardless of how good your intentions are. I welcome it on my my form b/c it helps me stay strict

i would really appreciate it if someone were truly being helpful. i don't see y anyone would be offended.

pffffff, Ive been "burnt" enough just trying to give my wife some advice, screw strangers...(not litteraly of course! pervs!)

Seriously, unsollicited advice is never kewl to give or receive. I would hate to be annoyed in the middle of a set, so I try to offer the same courtesy! Now the gym I go to has recently opened and there are a big time newbies in there, and little staff (mostly long time, knowledgeable BBers train there) so Its always funny to catch a glimpse of some kid, watching u, then trying to replicate after ur done.
