Myself, I collect Beer steins, old fishing tackle and old tools.

I once had a world class guitar collection but family financial crisis forced the sale. They went slowly at first. The ones that I could let go. Then one day all my Les Pauls were gone. I had stopped playing due to a wrist injury so they were being wasted but every now and then I`m sad that they are not there anymore.

Mine are CD's. I like having the actual disc and insert/leaflet around. Something about being able to look at the lyrics or appreciating the artwork makes the cd that much more enjoyable. Plus, if my computer craps out, I still have my hard copy.

Antique fishing lures and reels. I have a few that are/were valued around $400, but I have heard the market is flooded and values have droped as many of the old collectors have dump their collections. My dad gave me most of mine. I'd guess around 1000 lures and 40 reels. We filled 4 shadow boxes to hang in my son's room. The rest are put up for him to have later.

I had about 75. Strats, Teles, some old acoustics, SGs, 335s and 42 Les Pauls. No 50`s LPs except 3 Juniors and a Special but if the guitar didn`t speak to me, I didn`t buy it. I especially loved a 1968 Goldtop I bought from Joe Walsh for $200!!! Oh well, it got the family through a few years of tough times.

got a mad (very valuable) old aussie coin collection from my grandmother, stamps also, but im not the one who collected them, was tempted a few times to sell them, but thought they belong to my boys, so deposit boxed them

as for me personally, i compulsively throw shit away, drives my wife nutts (short trip!)

My GF collects shoes, clothes, purses... We have one whole bedroom converted to her walk-in closet, along with the closet in our bedroom. I keep my clothes in the closet in my study... One day we're going to have a mysterious moth infestation if she doesn't start sorting through and giving some away to Good Will.....

I found a few in their poops....a few times I heard them chewing on something and it was a tooth.. More than once a tooth came out while I played tug-a-war with one of them. I have them in a little jewelry box thought I might make a necklace with them one day...
