You guys hang out with some nice people

That's what happens when one lives in a bad area, or just in a big city.

Back in the 70's there was a lot of mob activity.

This Puerto Rican numbers runner short changed a gangster (real gangster, not gansta) and the Italian dude shot him right in the eye.

Back then the Mob was a scary thing.

i know several people that have MURDERED others. is this uncommon or something? :hmmm:

My uncle stabbed his friend in my moms kitchen and killed him. He only got 10 years for some reason.

My friend's girlfriend was a sniper in the Army. She brags that she could kill you from a hundred yards away and you'd be dead before you hear the gunshot.

only a hundred yards????

My grandpa and father both joined the Army during the Korean and Vietnam wars and were lucky to get stationed in Alaska guarding from a Soviet invasion so they didn't have to kill anyone....I don't know of anyone who ever had to kill anyone everyone in my family is a settle it with fists or just let it go kind of person. I could get very violent if I needed to, but I've never had to. My grandfather and uncle on my moms side killed themselves...if that counts?

only a hundred yards????
Thats what I'm thinking the average soldier better be able to hit someone at 100 yards, now 300 yards we're talking skills...

our marines have to qualify with open sights at 200 yards just to be a marine. a sniper with a scope had better be killing at 1000 yards with ease

Actually.... When I was Marine Infantry it was varying ranges and firing positions at the 200, 300, and 500 meter range.

Today's Army Scout Snipers train at distances up to (but not limited to) 1 thousand meters depending on the weapon system they are using.

I've never met (or heard of) a Woman Sniper in the U.S. military but I've met a German female sniper as well as a Russian.
