I don't know what country you are comparing the USA to.
As I am a Brit living in France , it may have created some confusion.

World War 2 was over 60 years ago.The USA is not the same place now as it was then.....

I might also add a lot was demanded from the UK during WW2 in return for US aid.As in making over territory in UK colonially held islands- for the US to put their bases on.....

You've also been a consistant critic of the United States. Now, you're not alone. There are a lot of people in that same camp who just cannot seem to get beyond their personal hatred and disdain for America. Listening to you, one would think that America is nothing more than "evil incarnate". You almost seem incapable of acknowledging anything positive about America and frankly, that's just sad. It shows a very shallow side of you I had hoped wasn't true.

Sure, America has it's faults. Every country does. America is also the single most powerful nation on earth and therefore, the easiest target for purist critics to attack.

Step out of the war for just a minute. Release this obsession to hate the United States for just a short while and You'll find we're really not that bad a place.
