Does fish oild and flax oil need to be refrigerated?

I keep them in the fridge at home, but when I take them with me, they just sit there in my purse all day.
 
did you buy them refrigerated?
 
yeah, but I've seen the same fish oil as I have being sold not refrigerated.
 
unless it says refrigerate on the back, i doubt itd matter. I don't think iv ever seen any refrigerated before
 
Capsules do not need to be refridgerated, however, the liquid oil DOES need to be refridgerated.
 
why don't capsules be kept at a cool temperature in stores?

Well - they do have to be kept somewhat cool (I wouldn't leave them in the car or anything like that).

But the soft-gel capsule cover acts to protect the fish oils... They prevent the reactions that cause it to go rancid when the liquid is left out.

My fish oil was already rancid as soon as i opened it :mad:
