I am getting ready to start my (first) cycle of Test. enanthate (500 mg/week split into two doses, nolva pct 60/40/20/20) (pct starting 10 days to two weeks after last injection). I am using norma enanthate in amps 250 mg/ml. I bought an amp cracker to aid me in opening them. I plan on running some warm water over the amp for a minute or two. I will then use a 20g 1.5" pin to draw, then switch to a 23g. 1" pin to inject (quads). Does anyone see a problem with this plan?

I don't see any problems, but I shot 25g x 1.5" in my quads, so that is also an option.doeslayer said:

I don't think so. I don't even have trouble drawing into slin pins, just tip the amp.kraziplaya said:
You need to change the pin after drawing from a vial, but I don't see the need to if your drawing from an amp unless you bump the bottom of the amp or something like that. Somewhere on here there was a post showing pictures of a needle tip after 2,4 and I think 8 injections. You will definitely want to change after seeing the pics. Your pretty close to my stats before I ran a 12 weeker of 500mg of test e/600mg of EQ a week. I ran a dirty bulk and shot up to around 212, but put on way to much fat, and boy is it a bitch to get off. Im holding right at 200 right now but ill never bulk that dirty again.doeslayer said:

My second try, I twisted the amp about 20 or so times and it snapped off clean. Hope that doesn't happen again, any tips?
Ive always just held the body of the amp in my left hand, put a cloth around the head, gripped the head with my thumb and index finger of my right hand and snapped it off with no problems.doeslayer said:

PS, it's also a good idea swab your ampules before you open them.

In your case, yes....if you are just drawing test from amps. Word of advice, don't let the tip of the needle continue to keep touching the bottom of the amp. The more times you touch the bottom, the less sharp the needle will be.
The purpose of switching pinz to begin with is so that after you puncture a rubber stopper on a vial, the needle gets dull and is more prone to bacteria. So we switch it out with a clean one that's super sharp and near painless.
I wouldn't worry about glass particles if you are drawing with thinner gauges. If you are drawing with an 18 on crappy amps, than I would look into a filter.
