Is there a difference in the muscles being worked when doing a regular dumbell bench press with palms facing forward and doing it with palms facing eachother?

I just did 1 one arm db bench press with my right arm with 100 lbs with palms facing eachother and I didnt feel much or anything on my triceps or arms.. is this normal?

That is the same hand placement as Dips if you use the machine. Dips can work both Tri's and chest so your guess is as good as mine.

I seem to feel my chest more if I use an almost palms facing together motion, with my elbows in, plus I think it's safer.

Probably a slight difference, but nothing major.

if you are not changing the orientation of your elbows the difference is negligable in regards to your chest. might be a bit different for your forearms as one position is more supinated and one more pronated, but even there i would think the difference is very minor.
