OK, im going to be moving in to college this sunday and i need some ideas to maintain a somewhat healthy diet. i know im going to be stuck eating some meals from our dining hall, which im going to have to bite the bullet. my dorm only contains a microwave.
proteins:
tuna
eggs
chicken(canned and cafeteria served)
protein powder
cottage cheese if im lucky
milk
carbs:
oatmeal
brown rice
apples
oranges
"whole wheat bread"-its more like brown bread in the cafeteria..probably high
GI..
maybe i can do some canned beans..chickpeas or red kidney
need some more carb ideas..
can red lentils be cooked in the micro and still come out all soupy and good?
fats
eggs
fish caps
flax seed oil
cashews
PB-prob wont be natural
almonds
and ill have salads from the cafeteria for my veggies
not the best but eh, got to make the best out of situation. when i cut in a couple months its gonna be hell.
