Eggs

You can eat as many whole or white eggs as your calories allow. You should be concerned with total calories that you are consuming.

Every day eat 6 eggs , it would be good for your body , and do not eat yellow portion because it have fat in it....

then you are not eating eggs.
no

Whole eggs are great but make sure you source organic or biodynamic as this increases the quality of the egg giving you more nutrients as well as its constituent macro and micro nutrients.

I personally eat 6 every day and would have more but thats all my budget allows at present.

I think it's time for an Eggs "Sticky", what you say?

Too many egg threads around...

Why 6? Why not 4 or 8?

Read in muscle and fitness last month for every two whole eggs you eat add 4 egg whites.
Well, guess that's it. Argument over. I mean, you DID read it in a magazine, and a very scientific one at that.

Lol dude! It was an article from the nutritionlist who got Jay Cutler to the Mr O. To me in makes sense decent ammount of protein without the fat from the yolks.

That doesn't necessarily qualify him to give advice to everyone. It means that he does a fantastic job helping Cutler reach his goals.

mattakaspeeedy, you can have as many yolks, and in turn fat, as you like as long as it falls within your caloric guidelines. Don't worry about the dietary cholesterol it contains.

How much fat is there ina n egg yolk? Don't they also contain a number of good nutrients?

From fitday:
Total Fat
5.3g

Saturated Fat
1.6g
Polyunsaturated Fat
0.7g
Monounsaturated Fat
2.0g

In terms of additional nutrients....nothing really in particular. However, just pop a multivitamin each day and you'll be fine for the most part.
