Two to four weeks into a planned 20wk Test/EQ cycle, I developed grip-related elbow tendinitis that has now prevented me from lifting for a month. I?ve been using a compression sleeve as well as a brace, icing it regularly, resting it, eating ibuprofen & rubbing a prescription cream on it, but it?s still too painful to even drink a cup of coffee using that arm/hand.

Should I complete the cycle, even if I can?t lift, in hopes the Test/EQ will help heal the tendinitis? Should I try a few shots of Deca (I hear it's good for connective tissue)? Or should I abandon the cycle, go to PCT and hope it heals itself in the coming months?

How long are you thinking you'll be out? If it's going to be a while (and as early as you are in cycle), I'd probably stop if it were me. Test/EQ won't heal the tendinitis and deca will only help to a degree. But if you've got real tendon damage, you don't want to mask the issue and make it worse. It takes a long time for them to heal due to lack of blood supply like you'd find in muscle.

I've (fortunately) never had this problem before, so I'm not sure. It'd been sore for about a month, but not terrible. Then it started hurting with routine stuff like holding a sauce pan, a coffee cup, or even holding my g/f's hand. At that point I started reading up, stopped working out, bought braces/sleeves (etc) and now, a month later, I have no &^%$ing idea if I'll ever heal. Ugh.. :(

If it is tennis elbow I know how to fix it.
I have had it about four times and it sucks.
I get it from bent over rowing and pullups.
I have had it last up to 8 months before.
Deca helped mask the pain of a torn rotator cuff but did nothing for elbow pain.

I truly feel you on this, I was in the middle of a 20 week eq cycle one of the times I had it and just muscled through it.

Sure, if it is tennis elbow this will get rid of it.

Get a small 2lb sledge hammer and hold it at the very end of the handle.

I do this while I am driving because it is my right elbow, put your forearm flat on the center armrest and hold the end of the hammer as if you were holding a water bottle and the hammer head up.
Now with your arm in that position rotate your forearm left to right.
Do this on your commutes to and from work assuming you drive at leas 20 minutes each way.

Do this for a few weeks and it will go away.
It sucks but this is the fastest way I have found.to get rid of it.

Hope this makes sense

Thanks Rubisean. Appreciate you taking the time. It?s interesting. Any thoughts on why that works? Is it the increased blood flow from the 20mins exercise? After all, the tendon?s collagen fibers are injured/degenerated and need nutrients/blood-flow to heal, right? I was looking into a TENS machine, or deep heat, but i'm totally down with your suggestion. Whatever's clever.

Also, Multislacking & REHH.. Researching tb500 & bpc157 (And, presumably, MK-677 for HGH?) on peptide-guide (dot com) it?s linking me through to ThymosinLabs (https://tb-500.com/products/tb500). Any thoughts on that vendor? Or am I being stupid to even ask?
