hey guys in july 26 i will be leaveing to a miltary school and were gouing to run every day 5 or 6 miles a day and i wanted to know how to build my endurance becuase i get tired real fast.:( i also need advise on push ups and sit ups beacuase i well do plenty. thanks

the best way to get better at running, push ups and pull ups is to run and do push ups and pull ups.

If you get tired fast then run a distance that is comfortable for you. Say, a mile. Write down the amount of time it took you and the distance traveled (ie....1mile x 8min.). Then when you go to run again try and beat that time (Ie....1mile x 7.5min). Or you can try and increase your distance each week too.

Agreed. Also, make sure you run with good form. It does make a difference.

yeah, getting someone that knows their sh*t to analyze your gate can be really helpful. You may want to do a google search on gate improvement and see what comes up. Small changes to your running style will help a lot.

After considerable work, I have a pretty good gate...

I too am heading off to a military school, the Air Force Academy to be exact, where are you going?

I haven't run consistantly for at least a year (I don't bulk and cut, I just eat everything and stay at low BF%). So I am starting and I hate it. I'm starting real low, like a mile or two and will work my way up to 5+ miles by the end of June (when I leave).

BTW, I used to run on a very regular basis (1+ year ago), but I decided I like lifting more so I just stopped running completely and go figure, my bench, squat, dead and stuff shot up.

I dont do pushups, but can do quite a few. I just can do a lot from years of lifting heavy weights. I do do situps however. Just start out small and work your way up.
