My wife and I tried "Bella Vita" Low Carb Pasta tonight with our chicken breast. Not too bad at all. They also make Low Carb sauce to go with it.
3/4 cup dry pasta has the following:
1g fat
0g sf
40mg sodium
18g carbs with only 10 net carbs
8g of dietary fiber
3g sugar
and get this..........28grams of protein!!
Ingredients: Defatted soy flour, pasteurized egg whites, rice flour, wheat gluten, and isolated soy protein.
Sauce has
6g carbs
4 net carbs
per half cup.
Not too bad tasting and with that much protein, certainly worth adding in to the diet.
