I was on vacation a few weeks ago in Las Vegas. I looked around and everyone was wheeling their luggage around and I thought why not see how far I can carry these babies by the seldom used handles. So I grabbed both our big suitcases and farmers walked them thru the terminal. I figured I would just have to go right outside the terminal and catch a cab, not too bad.
Well, if you have ever been to Las Vegas you know the cab line had about 200 people in it and was about 1/4 mile long. Longer than any amusement park ride I have ever waited in, but I was committed. I was not putting those bags down until they were in the taxi cab.
The cool thing is that you have to weave back and forth thru these aisle, just like at Disneyland. People were kind of looking at my like I was some kind of idiot until I saw some other guys start doing it too. It was like we were kindred spirits or something. It was very cool.
On our way out I did it again at the Southwest line to check in and it was brutal. The longest check in line of all time but I made it. No more wheels for me!!
