since i can easily eat a meal from mcdonald's that has about 2,300 calories and i was wondering if these kinds of meals would be helpful in bulking up and gaining strength. I'm 16, 145, and i want to bulk up for the upcoming football season.

so it wouldn't help if a had a big mac, large fries, and large chocolate milk 3 times a week?

well, this is usually what i eat per day:

-can of chili (40g protein, 46g carbs, 580 calories)
-can of ravioli (16g protein, 70g carbs, 460 cal)
-2 hot links (32g protein (together)) or can of soup (soup doesn't have very much of anything)
-2-3 protein shakes each has (33g protein, 240 cal)
-dinner (usually consists of potatoes and chicken (hey, i'm irish) or some kinda of pasta
-prolab n-large2 shake (have like 3 a week after some of my workouts) has, including milk, (875 cal, 72g protein, w/out milk has 86g carbs)

is this diet okay for bulking up? and yea i know i eat a lot of canned food. i usually get atleast 160g of protein (off day). i weight 145 lbs. i'm 16.

o yea, i eat fast food around twice a week
