feeling guilty

i had a Sausage McMuffin for breakfast today before my workout... then for lunch i had a plate of orange chicken. This is my cheat "day" but i cant help feeling guilty about it... especially after the crappy McMuffin :lame:
 
i know..i eat a cookie and it haunts me, i like it. fucking cookie.

You probably had a good workout also didn't you. Surprising how proteins, carbs and fats in one meal can help with strength.
 
bah... acknowledge and move on. I feel guilty when I eat too much too, even when i eat too much of a HEALTHY food.

I think it's normal, but not normal. Normal if you're working toward something and you feel bad because you know better, not normal because if you eat healthfully most of the time, it's ok to splurge every once in a while even on a sausage mcmuffin, without having to feel guilty.

I guess that's my long way of saying I know how you feel. :shrug:
 
and as T.O.M. mentioned - hell yeah my workouts are awesome after a big cheat meal. :clap:
 
A cheat meal is one thing. A cheat "day" is entirely another beast. Both terms are starting to get on my nerves as much as I know they can serve a useful purpose in a diet plan for some/most people. I guess end results are all that really matters, so if those are what they should be, why worry? Enjoy your cheating, that's the point of it. Making you feel bad is not serving it's purpose very well.
 
I'm with GoalGetter; I feel like absolute shit if I eat too much, even if I eat too much of a healthy meal. It just really messes with my head.

Oh well, you'll be find dude; Just take it one day at a time ;)
 
i feel like shit when i only get 3-4 meals in during the day and i cant eat every 2-3 hours. that messes with me, because i know i should be eating 6 and shouldnt go 4 hours or more without eating. i rarely have cheat days but some times its good for you because it can help to speed your metabolism.
