hi guys, i was just wondering if there is some kind of chart or table which says on average what kind of weight you should be lifting compared to your bodyweight.

is there a average push pull ratio, the reason i ask is because back when i first started lifting i was naive and just wanted a big bench so just focused on benching. thankfully i have learned a lot since then and am now working the whole body evenly. but because i did a lot of bench when i started my pushing is better than my pulling. i know that this is normall (after all when a car breaks down you push it from the back, not pull it from the front) but i think it is too much better than my pulling.

1 - so i was hopeing if as many people as possiable could post there bench and barbbell rows for me, so i could see how mine mach up with yours?

2 - i would also appreciate it if you could tell me how much you can bench press with dumbbells, so i can see how much your meant to do compared to barbell bench press. i konw its not going to be the same as with the barbell because you are using more stabilizeing muscles, but is there a average ratio such as 70% for example?

thanks in advance for any help.

Chill out, you waited a grand total of three hours after you posted that thread. This is an internet forum, if you want on demand advice i suggest you pay for a PT to live with you.

All of that will vary from person to person, though.

If you can pull roughly what you push thats great.

For squat/bench/deads i think 1.5x and over is pretty good.

To be honest, as long as you're improving consistently thats something to be proud of no matter what your numbers are.

thanks for the reply, sorry i should have waited longer, its just that some times i make a new thread and it doesnt get answered.

by the way what format do videos and pictures have to be to be able to attact them to a post. i made a video once on a mobile phone and tired to post it but the format wasnt wirte, and i couldnt post it. i am hopeing to maybe take some pictures of myself so people could coment on them for me.
