Wow that's a wide stance. You may get more power if you narrowed it a bit. I have bands and use them occasionally for bench and squat but never though to use them for deads. I may give this a shot at some point.
In power lifting there are two accepted stances
Sumo
Conventional
Both have advantages and disadvantages, I train in both positions.
Both stances are fully accepted in powerlifting federations.
